Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BypassTheNet ("BypassTheNet", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Bypass, our website at bypassthenet.com, the online dashboard, Discord integrations, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service. Questions: order@bypassthenet.com.
1. Information we collect
Account and billing
- Email address, name, and password (stored as a secure hash)
- Phone number when you provide it (for example, trial waitlist)
- Payment and subscription details processed by Stripe (we store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers; we do not store full card numbers)
- License keys and license status linked to your account
Discord
- If you link Discord, we may store your Discord user id, username, and avatar, and use them to assign roles or access community features in our Discord server
Desktop app and usage
- License validation requests, device/instance identifiers used for seat limits, and basic client metadata needed to operate updates and security checks
- Checkout and reservation summaries you sync to the cloud (for example site, product, size, and price) for dashboard stats and optional Discord alerts — not shipping addresses, payment card PAN, or proxy credentials in public feeds
Website and support
- Information you send us by email or Discord support tickets
- Support ticket transcripts (messages and attachments metadata) stored when a ticket is closed, for support quality and abuse prevention
- Standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) when you use the website or APIs, for security and reliability
- Optional authenticator (TOTP) secrets if you enable two-factor authentication on the dashboard
2. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service
- Create and manage licenses, billing, trials, and waitlists
- Authenticate you and enforce seat / instance limits
- Send transactional email (license keys, billing, waitlist decisions)
- Operate Discord role sync and optional checkout or security alerts
- Detect abuse, fraud, reverse-engineering, or unauthorized access
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers such as Stripe (payments), email/SMTP providers, hosting (for example Railway / Vercel), and object storage used for private installer delivery
- Discord when you link an account or when we post operational messages you configure (webhooks) or community features we operate
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect BypassTheNet, our users, or the public
Public global checkout alerts, when enabled, are scrubbed and do not include email, proxy strings, or shipping addresses.
4. Cookies and similar technology
The dashboard may use cookies or similar storage for signed-in sessions. We use these to keep you logged in and protect account access—not for third-party advertising networks.
5. Data retention
We retain account, license, and billing records while your account is active and as needed for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes (for example tax or dispute records). You may request deletion of dashboard account data subject to legal retention needs and active subscription obligations.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate to our Service (encrypted transport, hashed passwords, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. International users
We may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to those locations.
9. Your choices
- Update account details in the dashboard where available
- Unlink Discord from the dashboard or desktop settings
- Cancel billing through the Stripe customer portal / dashboard flows we provide
- Contact order@bypassthenet.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold
10. Third-party services
Retailers, proxy providers, captcha/SMS/IMAP services, and other tools you connect are governed by their own policies. BypassTheNet is not responsible for those services.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
